How I’m Raising My Boys to be Men

Raising my boys right so your daughters don’t have to! 😄 (jk, but not really)

Society likes to write off a lot of behaviors/ignorance men have and we usually just chalk it up to “boys will be boys” or choosing the bear. However, now as a mom of 3 boys I’m learning how curious kids are in general, they ask a lot of questions, like a lot... As a parent, I try to give them space to inquire about it. Like after having my 3rd baby, my oldest would ask “Mommy why are you always sleepy?”. We talked about childbirth and postpartum and now he doesn’t wake me up in the mornings, he plays. They also like to ask me a million questions about my make up, my birth control patch, why dinner takes long, why they have to clip their nails/do their hair/take a bath, breastmilk, pregnancy, boobs vs. nipples, etc. Haha

It makes me sad for all the men today that were little boys that were always told, “you don’t need to know about that stuff you’re a boy”. The absence of information must feel so lonely. Anywho, me and my babies have full transparency and empathy for all.
