Contour Vs. Bronzer — What’s the difference? 🤔

I’ve been doing my makeup for years now and I gotta admit, It took me a while to achieve a dimensional complexion through contouring and bronzing. So I want to share with you a guide that I’ve been following for years! Hope it works for you as much as it did to me. ✨

Contour shapes special features to create definition. It is meant to create shadow and dimension. Contouring works by mimicking natural shadow so a cool toned powder and cream is recommended. 💡To create believable shading, make sure to blend the product nicely and avoid harsh lines.

✨Areas to contour: Hairline, Hollows of cheekbones, Jawline, and Nose.

Bronze, by the word itself, it adds warmth to the skin giving a sun kissed radiance. I prefer a warm contour shade that’s 2-3x darker than my skin tone. Others prefer bronzer with shimmers but if you have oily skin, it’s best to go with buildable matte powder or cream products.

⚡️Areas to bronze: Along forehead, Top of cheekbones, and chin.
