Clarins Dupe ?

If you’ve dived into the world of lip oils the most trendy ones at the moment are Gisou honey infused lip oil or Clarins lip oil. Clarins was said to be a dupe for Gisou but given that it’s is only a few dollars shy from Gisou, I wouldn’t really consider it a dupe.

However, there’s been rumor that Milani Fruit fetish is a dupe for Clarins and after trying it out myself these are my thoughts.

Clarins - good applicator, beautiful packaging (would definitely make you feel bougie)

👍Pros: consistency, makes your lips feel velvety, tint changes to slight red depending on ph level, smells good, long lasting and not too oily

🤔Cons: price point, small tube

Milani fruit fetish - less thick applicator, cute tube

👍Pros: price point, smells super fruity, not too oily

🤔Cons: thinner formula, not as long lasting

Overall based on my observation I would say that Milani fruit fetish is NOT a dupe for the Clarins due to the formula being thinner and not matching or imitating that of Clarins. It is a good lip oil to have for everyday if you do not want to waste $28 on a lip oil. Although if you do feel like splurging I would recommend the Clarins instead of Gisou.
