MY TRIP TO ITALY (pt.2) 🇮🇹🫶

Tuscany deserves all the hype, and here’s why….

It is such a quaint and beautiful city, right next to Florence it is the perfect day trip that you can take. The little towns are such a beauty and it takes you back in time.

Our first stop on this day trip was Sienna, and let me tell you it was steeeeep. I definitely wore the wrong shoes this day because I was exhausted 🥱

We were able to go inside the beautiful cathedral and admire the architecture. I’d have to say in terms of traveling, the architecture is my favorite part of any trip. To think that it was all built with no sort of advanced technology puts so much in perspective and kind of knocks you out of reality.

From there, as part of our day trip, we had a wine tasting at a vineyard. We were taken through the process of how it is all made, we’re shown all the barrels that were used currently, and had stunning views of the countryside. This vineyard not only made wine, but balsamic vinegar, as well as olive oil. We had the perfect tasting followed by a lunch. As mentioned in my previous post, I booked all of my tours by using the app called get your guide. This was one of the tours and was worth every penny.

After the lunch, we stopped by the final city, San Gimignano. We had a quick walk through the town, and sat down for some coffee. If you don’t get coffee in Italy, are you even in Italy???

👍Fun fact: throughout certain times of the day, you are supposed to drink a specific type of coffee. Before 11AM, you are supposed to drink cappuccinos since it contains milk. Throughout the rest of the day, if you need coffee, you should be drinking espresso. Needless to say I didn’t complain about this rule, and drank as much as I could.
