How to Spend One Day in La Jolla in San Diego

Start by visiting the beach. You can go to La Jolla shores or La Jolla cove, which are two main beaches. You’ll find sea lions, seals, birds, and more! Go swimming here or play beach volleyball, or just walk along and take in the view.

La Jolla also has so many beautiful sea caves to explore, and many choose to go kayaking or snorkeling here to go inside and experience them. If you want to stay dry, you can check out Sunny Jim’s Sea Cave for $7+ and walk down many stairs to actually be inside. It’s located in the cave store, and there’s some souvenirs and crystals sold there as well.
