Best Memory Trick for Studying

Studying isn’t always the easiest thing, and memorizing lists can be pretty tricky! No worries, here’s the easiest way to memorize any list for your upcoming exams:

Mnemonic devices are tools that help you memorize different things. For example, acronyms, help shorten longer phrases, abbreviate them, and allow you to remember them better (ex. NASA).

This system described here is actually called the “Peg System.” All you need to do is memorize the main associations, like 1 is the sun, 2 is eyes, 3 is a triangle, etc. and then, from there, you make associations with other things.

This method is honestly one of the best and fool-proof ways of memorizing any list or order. I used this all the time in my Honors Biology class and it never failed me once! I recommend it to everyone after learning it in AP Psychology, so you should definitely give it a try!
