Getting older

Im 22. Don’t get me wrong, I am still young but when I take time to look back at myself throughout the years, I don’t feel as young anymore. Ideas I thought were great at 16 are horrible to me now. The energy and excitement I had at 18 has long gone. Mindsets that I thought I would stand by forever just don’t resonate with me anymore. There is beauty in getting older. It’s ok to change. Do not expect to be the same person you were at 16,17,18,19,20,21,22,ect. Allow yourself to grow and be kind to yourself in the process.
