Today I’m sharing this delicious immunity boost juice called “Jamu Jamu”. It’s packed with antioxidants & anti-inflammatory properties & will boost your child’s immunity system thanks to the ginger & turmeric.
*Although ginger & turmeric are safe to introduce in meals at 6 months of age, beverages made from them are recommended after 12 months!
🍋 INGREDIENTS:
1 medium ripe pineapple, diced
1/2 cup fresh turmeric root
3/4 cup fresh ginger root
3 cups coconut water (or filtered water)
1 lemon (juice only)
1/8 tsp black pepper (to activate turmeric)
🍋Make sure to slice ginger & turmeric roots into thin disc before adding to blender or juicer.
🍋If using a blender use a small strainer or cheesecloth to strain it.
🍋Add black pepper after blending or juicing.
🍋I add one once of Jamu Jamu to my kids cup filled halfway (about 3 ounces) with water or orange juice
