Baking gingerbread cookies with my toddler

Christmas time is the perfect t time to get messy in the kitchen with your little toddler & make a batch of cute gingerbread cookies.

We made this today using a kit I bought from Aldi. It came with almost everything you need to make & decorate the cookies except the honey & butter.

Whenever I bake with my toddler I make sure to first have all the ingredients ready. I put them out in individual bowls so they’re ready for my toddler to pour & mix.

Letting my toddler help me in the kitchen helped him tremendously with his pouring skills. It’s not always easy, it might get messy & take a little bit longer but it’s a great way to teach little ones basic life skills, make memories & bound.

It was so cute watching him decorate his cookies today, even though he bit off the head of the first cookie before we could decorate it 🤣 happy holidays friends & I hope this inspires you to bake some gingerbread cookies with your little this holiday season ❤️
