Book rotation for my baby

I also keep a separate book rotation for my baby, this way we have age appropriate books to read to her. And also books that she can grab without them being too big for her hands but also books that I don’t have to worry about her damaging (like her big brother’s favorite books).

The books I picked out for her are age appropriate, high contrast & short wording. In this book rotation, I added a book to help her learn sign language, it’s from Love Every. A book about words in Spanish because we are a bilingual family. And a really fun numbers book that has two sides to it. She really likes to play with the numbers book because you can open it all the way up and fold the flaps, and it’s super long. She really loves looking at the animal pictures on it too.

I always leave her books right next to her toys & she independently grabs them. Obviously she doesn’t know how to read yet, but she likes looking through the pictures and it’s a great way to keep her entertaining stimulated without a screen.
