Day 4:
For breakfast I had the same smoothie as yesterday and likely I will have it a million more times during this journey! What’s great about a protein smoothie is that it keeps me nice and full throughout the morning without an urgency to snack.
For lunch I had another variation of my favorite Mediterranean salad! Cucumbers, tomato, chicken, bacon, bits, feta, red onion, salt, pepper, oil, and apple cider vinegar.
For dinner I went to UDON Lab 우동공방 in Midtown Manhattan and holy moly the dishes were so yummy! My favorite was the Mentaiko Cream Udon my mom got but for high protein I got the Niku Udon.
After dinner we took a long walk to get those steps in and then I hopped on the train and read my daily reading/listening of something informative. Usually I like to start my day with the Daily podcast from the New York Times and then later in the day read my book before bed.
