Petting Zoo and Cafe in Phuket

Such a great find on our last day in Phuket.

Managed to make a short (half-day) trip to this petting zoo and that’s really all the time you need here. You can get in close contact with the animals, pet and feed them, ride the ponies. There’s even a small train that goes around the whole compound — which looked like a fun ride for kids (or adults).

The animals they have there

- baby (and elderly) goat

- bull (fenced)

- ducks

- bunnies!

- fishes

- ponies

And their food can be purchased at the entrance for 100B but they only take cash (even in the cafe). It includes food for every animal there and is labelled in English even if you forget.

The bunnies are in an air-conditioned part of the cafe where only drinks can be brought in. They bring the bunnies to you on little cushions.

Aside from animals there’s some statues and photo-op areas. The cafe food was okay, a lot better than I expected but not life changing.

Best of all, entry is free!!! (At least when I went)
