Tropical Cafe Under The ‘ECP’ — East Coast Commune

Located at Marine Cove along East Coast Park where most F&Bs are, we have East Coast Commune part of an addition to the “East Coast Plan”. They provide both indoors and alfresco dining areas, hence there are quite a lot of seating areas in total.

The indoor dining area has a tropical concept which its interior reflects natural landscape featuring marine-themed artwork (representing the sea) to potted plants on every table (representing the diverse floral in the vicinity). The tall trees placed indoors enhanced the environment with a relaxed ambience and tranquility.

The Brekkie with Sourdough Waffle ($18)

This breakfast plate was quite filling with many ingredients! In my opinion, I felt like it was an average plate of a “big breakfast” concept. The scrambled egg was done nicely with a creamy texture and it went really well with the sourdough waffle that I opt for along with the bacon, sausages, mushrooms and spinach.

Fish Sourdough Sandwich ($11)

It was my first time trying out the combination of fish with sourdough and it tasted surprisingly really good. A fusion sandwich of barramundi and kang kong filling, sounded really odd but it worked really well together!

I went down on one of the weekdays afternoon and there was a 20-30 mins wait. Hence, I would highly recommend you to reserve a table online in advance heading down to the cafe! Or, if you are along East Coast Park, you should drop by for a hearty brunch right here~ 😉
