Tong Fu Ju Sichuan Restaurant offers huge portion of seafood & we love the mala crayfish the most 😊 we went on a weekday dinner and it was quite chill and pretty as this restaurant is located right by the river & the staff that served us was quite friendly. price point wise i would say it’s in an expected range since it’s near CBD area but the portion wise is really quite huge for us. for ref, my spice level for mala is usually 小辣,, yes i cannot really take spicy food but i love them 😍

one fish two ways (one side is the tom yum fish & another side is mala crayfish) $58.80

i asked the staff to recommend the one that is not spicy to pair it with the fish & i would say their tomyum is indeed not spicy, it is sour but i like that! it is one entire fish so it is quite big for 2 of us & i counted there are about 25 crayfish!! i think it is really worth 🤩 i did ask the staff to prepare a less spicy mala for us but it was SO MA so LA we teared up but its so addictive… we even dip our fish with the mala sauce so YUMS, highly recommend you go try out their mala crayfish 🦞

we ordered barley & ice lemon tea ($3.80 each),, it is the best decision because the barley does help reduce the spice but i needed more drink 🥲 the mala was so spicy, so yes you should order a drink if you are eating their spicy mala

vibe/decor✨

it was raining that day so we sat inside, there is also an outdoor area where you can enjoy the river view & also the soft orange lights. for the interior its well decorated but i can tell the flooring is a little old already,, i will sit outside the next time i go and have their food again 😄
