Last December, I took a short 4D3N getaway to KL! Here are my itinerary, reviews, and breakdown of costs! π₯°
Before I start, I want to emphasise that transportation is very βΌοΈ important βΌοΈ so avoid taking coaches during the holidays as it will be VERY JAMMED. I booked a coach on 24th December early morning around 8am and I only arrived in KL @ 9pm π Donβt be like me and plan your transport properly πΊ Looking back at it, I would have paid extra for the plane tickets.
However, the ride back to SG on 27th December was smooth! π

β οΈ Day 1:
π Checked in to accommodation π‘:
We booked our accommodation through Airbnb (CLICK HERE FOR WHERE WE STAYED), located near the Berjaya Times Square! It came with an infinity pool as well πββοΈ
Total cost for accommodation is stated in picture 2!
π Dinner @ Jalan Alor Food Street π₯π΄:
It gets super busy at night and the driver would usually drop you somewhere outside the food street and youβll have to walk in yourself!
There are A LOT of choices available ranging from china cuisine, local seafood, Thailand cuisine, and many more! For the first night, we stopped at some seafood restaurants since most of the seafood restaurants had similar menus π© & we were really hungry
Total spent for dinner: 50 SGD for 3 pax
(The food there are generally affordable and within the price range I stated above depending on what you order)
π Spark Club πͺ©ππ»πΊπ»:
Since we spent our whole day on the bus, we decided to not waste our 1st day by going back to our accommodation to rest up so we went clubbing instead ππ»πΊπ»
The music and DJ were LIT π₯ This club used to be Zouk and they renamed it to Spark Club! Itβs more expensive than usual SG clubβs cover fee but trust me, the music was worth it π₯π© The dance floor is a little smaller as compared to Zouk, but thatβs perfectly fine for me!
βΌοΈNote: The minimum age requirement to enter the club in Malaysia is 21 y/o
Total spent: $35-45 per pax (I canβt exactly remember!) and it includes 1 free drink! πΉ
β οΈ Day 2:
π Batu Caves
The cave was pretty! No entrance fee! Highly recommend if you go there around 8/9am to avoid the sun! βοΈ
π Huskiss Cafe
Highly recommended! The dogs were very well-behaved and well-trained! The owner was very welcoming as well!
Total cost: $18.30/ pax and comes with a free drink! πΉ
π OKGO & Again Thrift Store
I honestly thought there was going to be a huge variety of clothing :-( I saw many videos on it on TikTok but I find it kinda disappointing!! I think it depends if youβre lucky or not! When I went there, there werenβt many oversized graphic tops, cargo pants, etc! π©
π Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall
If youβre looking to shop for higher-end products, you can probably come here! There are a lot of branded products here! I only went there to buy Christmas gift cuz iβm broke π
π Jalan Alor Food Street
Came back here again for dinner because it was near our hotel and we were really tired after being out for the entire day! Tried Thai cuisine this time round!
π Massage @ De Lifeβs Spa and Beauty
There were quite a few and we settled for a full body massage for about <$20 SGD
β οΈ Day 3:
π Petaling Street
Lots of food choices there & clothes~ (not really style tho) We also did an air brush tattoo for about 7 SGD :p
Saw a review on TikTok but I honestly find it 5/10? Thereβs nothing much there for me! I only took a few Instagram-able pics tho!
π Bumble Bee Cafe
4/10 please donβt go there π We only went there because it was hot and close to Kwai Chai Hong Street π Ordered the carrot cake and the texture was rather hard & the iced coffee tasted diluted π
π KL Tower Mini Zoo
Very children-friendly zoo! We could touch the rabbits, turtles, alpacas, etc! They even provided us with free food to feed them as well!
Total cost: $10-12?? for walk-in
π KL Tower
We went for the KL tower sky deck + sky box! At the sky box, you can only stand/ sit on the glass floor for 1 minute! There will be a timer to time you! However, you can walk around to enjoy the view for as long as you want!
Total cost: $24- $37 (subsidised for malaysian)
π Petronas Twin Tower
We walked to Petronas Twin Tower after we were done with KL tower! It was about a 20 mins walk!! We went there to sit and chill around! We didnβt buy the tickets because it was closed already! Honestly, thereβs nothing much except for malls nearby!
β οΈ Day 4:
π The Nest at Imbi
We had roasted chicken, BBQ chicken and roasted pork at the huge hawker centre! The BBQ chicken was quite bussin!!! π€€
π Three Years Old cafe
Before we head back to SG, we stop by this TIKtok famous cafe! Ordered one of their earl grey cake, coffee & tea! It was honestly not bad considering their price and it was way better than the Bumble Bee cafe! I spent about $20 below for 3 drinks & 1 cake!
