Ingredients:
5 chicken drumsticks
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 clove garlic, minced
white pepper
A:
3 Bay leaves
1 tbsp black peppercorn
375ml water
B:
1.5 tbsp white rice vinegar
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1. Marinate chicken (pierce chicken) with soy sauce, garlic and white pepper for 3-4hrs.
2. Heat pan and add 2 tbsp oil. Pan fry chicken until golden brown on both sides. Reserve the marinade.
3. Add all A ingredients and the leftover marinade (carrots optional), mix well and bring to a boil. Then, cover and simmer on low for 30mins. Add more water if necessary.
4. Add all B ingredients, mix well and let simmer for 5-10mins. Taste, adjust and serve! :>
