Ingredients:
250g Taukwa, cut unto rectangles
4 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
half a carrot, cut into halfmoons
half a capsicum, sliced thin
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 stalk spring onion, separate green and whites, sliced thinly
Sauce mixture:
1 tbsp Oyster sauce
1 tbsp Dark soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 cap shaoxing wine
white pepper
50-80ml water
1. Heat pan to medium and add oil. Place tofu evenly on the frying pan.
2. Pan-fry till golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
3. Using the remaining oil, add minced garlic and white parts of spring onion. Saute for 30s.
4. Add the carrots and mushrooms and stirfry for 2-3mins until browned.
5. Add the sauce mixture and bring to a boil.
6. Add the tofu and capsicum and mix well. Leave to simmer for 1-2mins.
7. Taste, adjust and serve! :> Enjoy!
