First Chinese BBQ 🍖✨ - Haltom City, Texas

Pulled up to this spot for a DoorDash photography shoot and was overly eager to try something (the smell and hanging meats had me). The owner- Li, a 26 year old Chinese male, took over and prides his restaurant serving his home food. Chatting with him and then being extended an invitation to share lunch in a traditional Chinese manner was so satisfying! 🥹

Xa xui (barbecued pork) is chopped thin to order. Then served to you in the most elegant meat pile you’ve seen. First Chinese BBQ (Haltom- cause idk about them other ones Google says) has authentic bbq chicken, duck, and beef cuts! And PLEASE don’t sleep on that Hong Kong Style Lemon Tea 🫖
