Why I’ll never be a Christian

After that encounter, I shed the fear of other belief systems and began researching. I tried many paths, atheism, wicca, buddhism, until finally I found my faith with a makeshift equinox ritual.

No need to get too deep into the specifics, but I’m now a hellenic pagan and theistic Luciferian and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.

Something I want Christians who are inclined towards trying to shame or scare people into converting is, beyond just the fact that a relationship built on manipulation will never be a healthy one, that for me, your god HIMSELF told me to find this path.

I don’t hate the Christian god. He simply is not my maker, not my Father or Mother, not my path. I never felt that home-ness in church or prayer. And i tried. For years I tried.

When I did my first ritual, and invoked Persephone, I felt that joy and peace that Christians always talk about. When I do spell work, divination, ancestor veneration, I feel that grounded, joyous internal harmony that everyone hopes for.

Sometimes I see people say that I’m being ‘mislead’ by demons. But… if demons are the ones telling me to drink water, stay safe, and care for others, then maybe demons aren’t the bad guys.
