The latest gelato shop from Italy has landed at Pavilion KL and I had to wait for an hour to get my first bite.

But is it really worth the wait? I don't think so.

🍽️ What I ordered: Large size, cone with gourmet and 4 scoops: Mix berries, Mango, Mont Blanc and Green Pistachio (RM48: RM43 for gelato and RM5 for cone with gourmet)

⏰ Operating hours: 10 am – 10 pm (Opened daily)

🚅 How to get there: ~5mins walking from Bukit Bintang station

- Cone with gourmet: If you don't want a cone then a cup is still available for you without paying extra RM5. Mine is a cone with dark chocolate and almond nibs. Cone is crispy and must choose dark chocolate as this shop is famous for.

- Large size: Because I order a large size then I have 4 flavors, smaller size and lesser flavors. The Mixed berries one tastes like smoothies in any Starbuck branches, I don't even think it is a gelato, a bit sour and not sweet. The Mango is the worst, it is so sour and lucky me I choose another sweet flavor to balance it. The Mont Blanc flavor is really so-so, not good, not bad. The only one I feel nice is the Green Pistachio which is nutty and earthy, demi sweet. Suggesting to select Banana Split and Dark Chocolate flavors as my friends ordered is so good.

Overall, RM48 for a gelato is too pricey, the texture is not really thick to convince me it is a gelato, some flavors taste like sorbet.

It is so easy to melt that you have to finish it quickly.
