Classroom Door Inspo

As a first year teacher I often find myself drowning in a load of work. Over the past year I have been really focusing on spending time in my classroom creating a fun and inviting space both the kiddos and I love being in. The amount of excitement a decorated classroom door brings is well worth the extra work and planning.

Our first door was done during our coral reef unit and I have each student make a clown fish to put on our very own coral reef.

Our second door was done for March’s reading month. Our school wide theme was under the sea and my students decided to go with the classroom theme ‘The Rainbow Fish’. This was my all time favorite door. I have each student paint a paper plate, load it with pounds of glitter and I then cut it into 4th to make the rainbow fish.

And our last door was just completed as the new Mario movie came out and ALL of my kiddos have been talking about it. It’s crazy to think we are already this close to the end of the school year.
