FOOD I TRIED SO YOU DONT HAVE TO

this is new lane street food stalls at penang. & i gotta say, it’s quite disappointing cause i thought there will be more stores 🥲

the first food that caught our eyes was the char kway teow. it has super long queue & ofc singaporean being singaporean, we gotta join the queue! we ordered the char kway teow + duck egg, large size that cost rm14. WOW the price! 😅

verdict: not worth the queue. it was very disappointing…. & for a large size portion, it’s pretty small. can consider heading to the opp store, no 5 char kway teow that taste much better!

next, we bought xiao long bao as well as the pan fried dumpling. both cost rm10 each for 5 pieces.

rating: 2/5

verdict: the xiao long bao filling is not the usual taste we eat in sg. & the skin is pretty thick… the pan fried dumpling was so so too.

lastly, we got 10 sticks of signature chicken satay (rm17) & 10 sticks of pork satay (rm16).

rating: 2/5

verdict: well.. same soso as well. it taste like chicken breast meat 🥲

oh! i also ate chicken wings that cost rm4 each. honestly, it’s the best food i’ve eaten from this street food 😅

there are a few other stores but these are the ones we’ve tried. pls lmk if any of the other stores is good so that we can give it a shot the next time we head there! hopefully the other food isn’t as disappointing…
