how i spent my Christmas in Seoul

this is my first time spending Christmas & New Year overseas, and it was a very pleasant experience as the vibes overseas are just super different from Singapore.

on Christmas day, I spent it at Myeongdong, the most popular shopping district in Seoul. Myeongdong is honestly REALLY HUGE & they have ALOT of stores there selling makeup, skincare, food, shoes, etc! 😱

i splurged a lot on skincare... they have many good deals such as 1+1 (buy 1 free 1), 20 sheet masks for 10,000 KRW, discount vouchers, membership benefits, etc!!!

definitely splurged at olive young, they have so many different brands and i love how they arranged all the different sections and put the best sellers at the entrance! really wide range of products + good deals + sale, etc ~ likewise for makeup products! 🥰🥰

ALSO i've splurged on contact lens... its 34,000 KRW for 20 pcs daily lens omg. i buy it at $34 USD online so its a lot cheaper to buy it in the store itself!! they also have 1+1 monthly lens, which i bought too HAHAHAHHA

koreans are really generous with freebies, they gave me a ton of contact lens cases and solution 🥹 also remember to ask for tax refund!!! ☺️

overall it was a very good shopping day in Seoul on Christmas day ~~

fyi, i visited Hongdae as well. PERSONALLY i prefer to shop at Hongdae because its not as crowded and they have a lot of things that Myeongdong has too. BUT i will still go to Myeongdong to purchase my skincare products as they have more stores there and they're much cheaper.
