Recommended places for aesthetic film photography

These are my 3 favourite places for aesthetic film photography in Singapore! I mainly do architecture photography and portrait photography but these places are good for street photography as well!!

1. Tanjong Pagar: This is my absolute favourite place for film photography and it’s where I recommend friends to go when they are just starting out in film. Different parts of Tanjong Pagar give off different aesthetics so it’s easy to capture different vibes all in one area. You can even wander out to Chinatown area but just Tanjong Pagar alone is good for a variety of film shots!!

2. Tanglin Halt: I am devastated that this entire area is going to be demolished by 2024. But before it all goes away, head down to Tanglin Halt. I can’t describe what it is exactly but the entire neighbourhood is super serene and it’s very different from the usual busy-ness almost everywhere else in Singapore.

3. Rochor/Jalan Besar: In order to properly explore this area, you’ll need to wander into even those unassuming alleys. They give off ✨abandoned ✨vibes HAHAHA
