I've always wanted to visit Germany, especially during Oktoberfest. Living in Atlanta, the closest I can get is this super cute city of Helen . Located just about an hour from Atlanta , this town looks just like a little German town with restaurants and festivals featuring beer and german eats, and is especially fun during their Oktoberfest. There are also fun hikes with waterfalls as well as my favorite, tubing along the Chattahoochee River. Definitely recommend a day trip out there, as there are so many things to do!
