Is TSA-precheck worth it?

Depending on the airport, TSA - Precheck allows you to skip the main security line and/or skip removing shoes/belts during security. It costs $78 for a 5-year membership and allows you to move through security much more quickly than normal. Having TSA- precheck has allowed me to save so much time when traveling, and if you get global entry for $100, it includes pre-check, making it definitely worth it (~$20 per year)
