styling my roommates curls 🫶🏻🧸

let’s talk about everything!

monica (my roommate) seems to have low density, finer hair. she has some super tight curls at the base of her neck but has never ever styled her hair curly! this was literally the first time she’s done anything so i was so shocked to see how enhanced her curls became after just one styling session!

so we started off by scrunching in a very small amount of lanza curl cream, i didn’t want her curls to get weighed down but i wanted to add jusssst enough cream to help the curls clump together, i used the for this!

after i went in with the very famous bounce curl defining brush to detangle and define her curls

then i scrunch in a little gel, just enough to add definition, but not too much to weigh down the curls! i used the boucleme fragrance free gel for this

then we did some microplopping with a microfiber towel sent to me by canopy

and we finished off with cup diffusing with my travel diffuser by curlsmith

i think the results were amazing!! i loved them, she loved them, and she is so excited to learn more about her hair!! i’ll keep you guys updated on her progress, let me know what you think below!!
