🥵After a day of exploring the island, nothing can beat having a relaxing & calming Balinese massage.

😢However, after cleaning ourselves up in the hotel, there were such inertia to get out again.

At Tribe Kuta Hotel, we found the perfect solution.

Home massage services, done in the comfort of your own room!

🤓Booking had to be made in advanced, so once we are back in the hotel, we made a call to the concierge to make the booking.

Side story: on our first attempt previously, one of the masseurs got into a bike accident on the way to our hotel.

So do book your massage in advanced if you could, so there are enough time to look for a replacement.

👍Otherwise, the whole process was pretty smooth. Masseurs came on time and they would bring along sarongs to lay on your bed so hygiene is not a big issue here.

❗️But, do take note to inform the hotel staff if you like specific massages like I do. It’s a pity I didn’t and had to sit through a less than pleasurable “piano” massage. Even after many times of reminding to go harder, the masseur was feigning ignorance.

✅Good thing, the hotel took it upon themselves to compensate half of the massage cost.

👌Lesson learnt: Never assume and always give clear instructions if you want a specific standard of services
