October 20th Question of the Day

I wanted to take a moment to share some questions I reflected on in my journal. It could be a wonderful opportunity for us to connect more deeply, or you might find it helpful for your journal entry. Either way, I hope it brings you a sense of discovery and understanding!

🍁What is the story behind your middle name?

—> I get my middle name from my family history. My Great-Grandmother asked my Mum if she should ever have any girls to name me after her mother, so that's how I got my first name. My Mum had her name for her middle name, and she wanted to continue that tradition. So, when I was born, I was named after my Great-Great-Grandmother and my Great-Grandmothers. It wasn't till I was about 18/19 that I fell in love with my middle name, Theresa, after learning the history and how my Great-Grandmother was forced to Americanize her name when she came to America. I grew up on stories of her, and though I never got to meet her, I loved her dearly. When I lost my Mum, it meant so much to know that I shared her middle name.
