Single mom… now what?

I can go on and on about this topic. I am still learning. Remember that every case it’s different. The father of your baby may be or may not be present. Whatever your case may be always prioritize yourself and your baby. Choose peace.

Go to therapy. Talk to somebody. If you are going through physical and or emotional abuse speak up. To a friend, to your OBGYN anyone really. Do not stay silent because you think they are going to change or because you are ashamed. You are not the first nor the last one to be a single mom. There are hundreds of us. With your baby’s father support or without it you are going to be okay. It gets better.
