Best doughnut I've ever tasted! 😍 (T20 price...)

Ticked off another thing on my list as well - HALO Doughnuts in The Gasket Alley! Their doughnuts are famous because they're made of sourdough, and generally for how tasty they are. My friend and I shared one donut because we were pretty full from lunch.

👍Why I like it: It was honestly the best doughnut I've ever tasted in my life. All the doughnuts are not uniformed in shape, because they're all handmade! The first bite of the doughnut is very sweet due to the white chocolate glaze, but then comes in the coffee ganache, which is bitter! The mix of bitter and sweetness is balanced, which makes it so tasty. However, these two by itself is very boring and can be quite 'jelak', so the addition of the frosted spiced walnuts and caramel creme are a good match! With each bite, you are able to taste different combinations of the four key ingredients, making it a super enjoyable experience.

While it's very tasty, it generally still is very sweet, and most importantly, very expensive 🤒 my wallet hurts. RM15.90 is a very hefty price to pay for a doughnut, and is like 3x more expensive than Krispy Kreme. Halo Doughnut will just remain a once-in-awhile self treat for me 🥲
