good morning!!! if you’re anything like me, you haven’t really been a “morning routine” type of person growing up. well, after seeing them blow up everywhere, I decided to give it a shot to start following one at the beginning of this year. It’s been 5 months and I here are some off the top tips that have stuck and are actually worth keeping imo!
starting with the why: the key to a having a good day is having a good morning! when you wake up with an intentional mindset and a routine, it makes your mornings so much better! definitely tweak any of these to YOUR individual needs, but this is a list of things that have worked for me!
- wake up on time (don’t hit snooze!)
- make your bed
- brush your teeth
- drink a glass of water and eat breakfast
- take your vitamins
- skincare routine
- stretch
- tidy your room
- check email, plan your day, create a to do list
- listen to a podcast, read something
- sit outside and get some fresh air before the day starts
- get dressed
- keep a positive mindset for the day! you’ve got this!
