my shanghai disneyland experience 🎠💫

i went to shanghai disneyland in january and i haven’t done a proper review on it so here it is! swipe to view the highlights of my disneyland trip 🌟 the park opens at 8:30am daily and we entered at around 9:20! there was quite a long queue to enter though we arrived at 8:40, so do reach earlier if you aim to finish all the rides❗️

i bought my early bird ticket on their disney resort app for 415 yuan which is around 77 sgd! ngl i think it was pretty worth given how big the park is and ofc the newly opened zootopia 😆

here are the rides i went on + my ratings hehe 🫶🏻 - honestly i did not go on that many rides but still, i did manage to try the most thrilling rides in the park! also thankful i managed to catch the day + winter night parades as well as the fireworks show 💫

📍tomorrowland

> tron lightcycle power run: 10/10!!! ⭐️

this was my first ride of the day and i was unexpectedly assigned to the first row HAHA but that was a whole new experience‼️tron is not your ordinary roller coaster, it has a motorbike concept which is super cool and the visual effects in the ride are so pretty! 🤩 must-try in sh disneyland & i highly recommend being in the first row!

also you may want to ride it at night for a more immersive experience as you wld get to see the lights in full display

📍toy story land

> woody’s roundup: 8/10

this spinning cart ride was unexpectedly fun!

📍zootopia

sadly i did not manage to ride the one and only ride here which is ‘a hot pursuit’ bc the queue was 2 hours long and we still had to explore the rest of the park 🥹 but i heard many people saying it is a really good ride so don’t miss it! anyway i really loved how they brought the little details from the movie into life for this new area that is unique to sh disney!

📍fantasyland

> the many adventures of winnie the pooh: 9/10 ⭐️

a story ride in a honey pot - as a pooh fan i may be biased but this whole ride was just super cute and immersive!

> seven dwarfs mine train: 9/10 ⭐️

though this is more of a kid-friendly roller coaster, it was still quite thrilling for me! loved the indoor story elements and the drop towards the end

> peter pan’s flight: 6/10

another story based ride, the visual effects were quite advanced but it was a rather short ride imo

> ‘once upon a time’ adventure: 4/10

a walkthrough tour in the castle - even though the 3d details were quite pretty, i don’t think it was worth climbing up the castle stairs and standing atw to watch it 🥲 more suitable for kids who like disney princesses!

📍treasure cove

wanted to try the highly rated pirates of the carribean ride but we didn’t have much time

left :(

the food i tried 🍰

> linabell waffle with red date and vanilla ice cream: 9/10 ⭐️

the waffle was both crispy and soft 😋 i was also addicted to the red date part of the ice cream hehe, bonus point for the visuals

> toffeenut latte: 7/10

this was honestly not bad! but a little too sweet for me

> corn: 5/10

the texture of the corn was not it for me..but the seasoning was okay

> turkey leg: 8/10

this was so flavourful and i heard it’s also the most popular snack here 😋

overall it was an amazing day at disneyland and i’m so glad i managed to capture a spectacular shot of the fireworks at night 💫 i can’t wait to go back there again 🥹🫶🏻
