3 examples you should have ready for an interview

Because your resume already has a list of your skills, during an interview, interviewers typically don’t want you to just rattle off the skills that you have.

To be quite frank, they can read and can look at your resume and get all of that same information. What they’re going to want is examples. So, with that said, it’s always a good idea to have several examples in your back pocket so that you’re already prepared when you’re asked.

Here are some examples you can expect to be asked during an interview:

A conflict with a team member (that you resolved).

A time you implemented something that solved a problem. Bonus points if you can relate it to a problem that the company is trying to solve (you may need to do some research for this one)

A time when something didn’t go as planned (and what you did).

Having these examples on hand will also help you to feel more prepared and confident going into the interview!
