In the Army we have a physical training requirement that basically tests soldiers fitness and endurance capability. This 6 event training assessment is by far the best training routine the army has ever had. It’s called the Army Combat Fitness Test.
Event 1: Max Deadlift (Hexbar)
Event 2: Standing Power Throw (10lb medicine ball)
Event 3: Hand Release Push-ups
Event 4: Sprint-Drag-Carry
Event 5: Plank
Event 6: 2-mile run
Alternate Events: Rower, Bike, Swim
*alternate events are for those with injuries that aren’t able to run*

The required scores to max (600 total) depend on the job that you have in the Army. So more physical/combat based jobs have a higher ceiling for reaching maximum scores compared to others. This is something the army tried to change and make neutral across the board but was unable to maintain.
