How soon is too soon?

As someone who suffered a massive heart break last year after calling off an engagement here’s some things I have learned.

- You can’t have Love if you have Fear. Love overcomes fear and thus if you find yourself scared to love or incapable of letting your fear go then…

- I do believe processing relationships and figure out the purpose for which the individual came into your life, gathering the lessons and understanding the breakdown and even being honest about your feelings towards the person is helpful.

- When you know you know, I mean that for every part. You know when it’s time to let go, you know when it’s time to move on, you know and trust yourself with that.

- I’ve been on 2 dates since my last relationship and one thing I keep noticing is that I feel “picky” but in reality I’m just a lot more understanding about what I want and what I don’t want, what I’m feeling, and honestly feeling out a situation for myself to gauge what I’m feeling around someone.

- I also found that out of sight helped released things from out of mind. Once I feel indifferent I know that I’m over it. It’s not hate, or regret or remorse, just INDIFFERENCE. I’ve finally let go.

Moral my story is… I don’t think there’s a time frame for getting back out there and dating, I just know that dating is about experimenting and exploring but you have to keep an open heart. 🩷
