i bought an ipod in 2024

ive always loved physical media and ive always loved devices that have a dedicated, distraction-less purpose (like e-readers!!)

I have a HUGE cd collection. I love owning and displaying my favorite albums and looking back to see what albums I loved so much I spent money on them. That, and cd’s sound better than Spotify! (I use Spotify on the daily too lol. Apple Music offers cd-like audio but not for every album).

I decided, for days where I want to use my cd player but can’t decide what to play, to get an ipod and shuffle my albums!

im excited to put some music on it, but i made the decision to look through the previous owners music before I wiped it. the previous owner listened to music that my dad listens too (a lot of salsa and reggaeton) so it’s weirdly nostalgic!! It almost makes me not want to wipe it haha
