How to hide your cables!

Cable management is arguably the worst thing about a desk setup, but once you get it done, it looks + feels so much better ✨ Believe it or not, it can be done with just 4 items!

*I have a standing desk so what works for me may not work for you. There are ways to work around it though!

1) Monitor Arm/Mount 🤳🏻

The best way to hide cables coming from your monitor! Monitor arms are not only there to mount your monitor, but they also serve as a “pillar” to tuck away any cables connecting your monitor to your PC. *Note: Your monitor must be VESA compatible to install most, if not all monitor mounts!

2) Power Strip 🔌

The KEY to hiding messy cables under your desk. A power strip connects all your devices/gadgets directly to a power outlet without cables dangling everywhere. Excess cables can be tied up! *Note: make sure your power strip is long enough to connect to an outlet! Longer = Better

3) Velcro Adhesives 🔒

This locks your power strip in place. Velcro adhesives are the best, budget-friendly, no-screw method to attach a power strip to the bottom of your desk *Note: MUST be heavy duty as they hold more weight than normal adhesives/velcro strips

4) Velcro Cable Ties 🔗

Where your cables become 1. Velcro cable ties hold all your cables together, making it easy to tuck them away! I use them to hold cables together, and secure them behind the legs of my desk so they’re hidden from the front
