I’ve been gardening for about 9 years now. If you want to start gardening the biggest tip I can give is to just jump in.

Don’t overwhelm yourself with feeling like you have to know everything before starting.

It’s okay to buy starter plants from your local home improvement store or nursery. You can also sow directly, just make sure to follow the packet instructions.

You can always start with small containers on your deck porch or balcony and go from there. You do not have to have a huge garden to get started! Start where you are with what you have!
