Must-have items for an efficient home office setup

Here’s a peek into how I hold myself accountable for my productivity ⌛

Working from home allows me to be more flexible with my time. I can start my work day whenever I want and hit pause as often as needed. 💛

But, the thing is, productivity can be difficult when your bedroom is also your WFH office. You can just imagine how easy it will be for me to take a 15-minute nap, only to wake up 2 hours later.

So I devised a system that will allow me to be productive and accountable:

⌛ Mind the time—Whether you're time-blocking or following the Pomodoro system, managing and tracking how I spend my time helps me make sure that I hit my deadline every time.

Having a timer on my desk also helps me schedule breaks within my routine.

🗃️ Clear your space—I can't function at my best if my desk is full of clutter. Adding these organizational boxes to my workspace allows me to tuck items out of sight until I have the time—and energy—to put them in their respective places.

🎧 Comfort, always—Roughly, on any given day, I'm spending about 6-9 hours working at my desk. This can be uncomfortable sometimes. As a result, I keep cozy with items like my tatami cushion cookie as I tackle my to-do list.
