Have you ever heard the word "hygge"? 🧦☕

Well, it's a Danish concept of curing SAD (seasonal affective disorder) through living comfortably. Think of it as their way of fighting the gloominess of the coming winter months by being extra appreciative of everything. ❄️🍁

When people talk about hygge, I often think of fuzzy socks, marshmallows on hot choco, self-care books and cafe conversations with friends.

It's a gentle lifestyle which is perfect for this season, since most days, my family and I are holed up in the house because of the rain.

And it's something that I've been intentionally practicing these days, too —especially in the mornings. 🌞🌻

Whether it's reading a book or watching the newest vlog from my favorite creator, nothing beats showing up for myself first before I start my work for the day! 🧘‍♀️
