if you loved the viral uniqlo dumpling bag, it is now in corduroy! i fell in love with it the moment i laid my eyes on it, and decided to get it as a birthday gift for my friend who’s obsessed with their dumping bag! it comes in 5 different colours: off white, black, brown, olive green, and dark orange

as many of you know, the uniqlo outlet at somerset offers customisation like embroidery & shirt printings. i got the off white corduroy bag for $19.90 and paid another $10 for the embroidery. there are over 100 designs to choose from their catalogue i believe, and most designs are fixed colours. i realised that the cat designs are the most popular, as they should be! i went on a weekday around 3pm and was told to collect my bag at 9pm 😭 it was a longer wait than i expected but when i saw them pull out their finished orders i understood why.. so just be prepared to wait! they actually forgot my order so when i reached at 9pm i had to wait around 15-20 minutes more. a tip i have is to pay for the bag and embroidery together at the cashier before you head to the customisation station, so you don’t have to go back and forth

i also customised a shirt for my bf for $29.90 and i think it’s so funny HAHAH i will force him to wear it 😂 i believe the cost breakdown is $19.90 for the shirt and $10 for the printing. honestly, i was a little disappointed with the quality of printing because i sent in a vibrant picture but the shirt came out dull, so my face was very yellow… maybe it’s the colour i chose, but it was still upsetting for a $30 shirt. nonetheless, i think this customisation service makes a unique present and it’s also a cute couple activity!
