Read this if you're on a weight loss/management journey💌

Most women conscious about their weight turn to counting calories to manage their weights. While there are health benefits to being aware of what and how much you are consuming, some people don't do it correctly!

Common mistakes:

⭕️ Eating anything you want as long as its within your caloric goal

⭕️ Restrictive eating to stay within caloric goal and over-exercising

⭕️ Eating as little as you possibly can, for eg: just 1-2 meals a day

⭕️ Eating well within caloric goal, but not exercising at all

I know what you want: You want your clothes to fit better, it doesn't matter if you're a clothing size smaller but heavier on the scale

I know what you want: To eat the dessert or drink the bubble tea (& not 0 sugar) without worrying about gaining weight

💥BEST FAT LOSS METHOD💥

You want to get METABOLICALLY HEALTHY, NOT lose weight

Weight = water, fats, bones & muscles

If you measure yourself on the scale too frequently, you're probably measuring difference in water weight

Fats weigh less than muscles but take up more space. You want to lose fats, not weight! Hence, you need a FAT LOSS strategy.

When you are metabolically healthy, your body won't keep unnecessary fat.

Some simple steps to become metabolically healthy:

💘 High protein diet (at least 30g per meal)

💘 Exercise 1-3 times a week (1 if you're new to working out, 3 is the max so you have days to rest, nothing more!)

💘 Walk at least 5000 steps (If you are already walking more than this, try to hit 10000 everyday)

For exercise, jogging is not the best. I'll personally recommend doing workouts with resistance. For example bodyweight workouts or using weights.

➡️ Building muscles will improve your metabolic health

But you have to know muscles weigh more than fats, but take up less space on your body. Hence, you have to stop weighing yourself too frequently. Don't let the number represent your progress, it's inaccurate!

I'll recommend giving yourself 10 weeks and try on the same pair of jeans before & after. Take before & after photos as well. Numbers on the scale are bulls***

Count your protein & fiber intake, not calories! Don't over eat what you don't need, and also don't under eat what you need. Try 30-60g of protein and 10g of fiber per meal. You'll have a proper, balanced meal and will never be hungry.
