1. Go to Chicago’s Pride Parade, one of the largest LGBTQ+ parades in the world. The parade takes place in Northalsted (aka Boystown) every last Sunday in June. Also check out events like Pride in the Park and Pride Fest. Northalsted

3. Visit Chicago’s gay library, Gerber Hart Library, the largest LGBTQ+ library in the Midwest. Located in Roger’s Park neighborhood, sign up for a membership and check out LGBTQ+ books for free. Gerber/Hart Library & Archives

5. Explore Chicago’s gayborhoods including Northalsted, Andersonville as well as less known (unofficial) gayborhoods like Roger’s Park and Uptown. Northalsted is most known for it’s LGBTQ+ nightlife while Andersonville is perfect for shopping and dining. Roger’s Park is filled with local shops and community spaces.
