Naturally Dyed Easter Eggs

For those Mama’s who don’t like using the artificial dyes for Easter eggs, you can still get some beautifully colored eggs using natural dyes! Plus, it adds nutritional value to your eggs. Win, win!

Ingredients:

- Boiled Eggs

- Canned Beets

- Carton of Blueberries

- White Vinegar

- Water

Directions:

Pour two cups of water into a sauce pan and add blueberries. Cook on medium heat until the juice separates from the blueberries. Pour into bowl over strainer to separate the left over blueberries. Stir in a tablespoon of vinegar.

Mix turmeric with warm water (I just eyeballed it) and a tablespoon of vinegar.

Open canned beets and pour into a bowl with a strainer to separate the beets from the juice. Add a tablespoon of vinegar & a little bit of warm water & stir.

Add eggs to the mixtures and use a spoon to make sure the eggs are fully immersed. The longer they soak the brighter the colors will be.
