I cut the eggs down the middle after boiling for 10 minutes so they were fully cooked. Next I blended the cooked egg yolks with mayonnaise, pickle juice, dill, salt, paprika and a spoonful of mustard. Blend until SUPER creamy otherwise it won’t pass through the piping tip!
I put 2 small bowls of water in the microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds then added a few drops of food coloring. The more drops, the darker the color of your egg whites.
I let the egg whites sit for 5 minutes in each color. Set them cut side down on a paper towel until dried.
Fit the piping bag with a closed star tip and fill with the yolk mixture. Swirl the filling into the center of each egg white. Enjoy!
PS - I am new at learning how to use piping tips. I ran into issues as my filling was not completely smooth and clogged the tip. I highly recommend blending the egg mixture with a food processor or blender to avoid this!
