The Burning God by R.F. Kuang: 5/5⭐️

It was an incredible trilogy and was very Attack on Titan coded especially with how it ended. I’m looking forward to reading more of R.F. Kuang’s work!

Th1rt3en by Steve Cavanaugh: 5/5⭐️

This had me hooked from the beginning and the turns and twists captivated me through the entire book! I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out how in the world they were going to get to the bad guy!

Nestlings by Nat Cassidy: 2/5⭐️

The concept was interesting so that was it’s only saving grace other than that… BORING!

Teaching the Teacher’s Pet by Sarah Sutton: 5/5⭐️

YALL!!!! This book reminded me of those cliche romance movies from the late 90s to early 2000s and it was EVERYTHING! I eat up the cliches every time and it did not disappoint. Get this into a movie with the early 2000s vibes and I’m SAT opening night.

Falling by T.J. Newman: 4/5⭐️

This started off fast paced and keeps you hooked throughout wondering how in the world they are going to get out of this situation. I was on the edge of my seat and my heart was racing constantly! While I do enjoy multiple POVs, sometimes I got a bit confused and felt like the random baseball players POV thrown in there was unnecessary.

Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan: 3/5⭐️

I was really looking forward to this book and the cover for it is absolutely STUNNING. I enjoyed the messages throughout and really resonated with Xingyin’s perspective on love and trust. I was kind of bored at times and did feel like the love between Liwei and Wenzhi wasn’t developed too well. I’m still going to read the second book though to see how it’ll fare.
