🍣🍣 1 for 1 Omakase at Golden Mile!!!

Had my first omakase experience at G Izakaya as I saw some tiktok videos sharing this good value omakase experience!

👍Why I like it:

The sashimi is the freshest I have eaten! The chefs also thoughtfully ask what do we not eat before the meal began - both me and my boyfriend didn’t like oysters so they actually offered us something in replacement.

S$188 ++ for 2 pax

We also bought a bottle of sake to pair with our meal. It was S$58++

There were honestly quite a variety of food served and to be honest I cannot remember the names of some of these 😅 special ones i remember off hand is that one of the dishes had a ponzu jelly - it literally melts into a savoury flavourful burst when you put it in your mouth. Very pleasant surprise! I also liked their hamachi, ootoro, uni and hotate. All super super fresh! The uni (sea urchin) is the one where they sprayed the gold flakeys. Great for photos too and if I could have more of the uni sushi I would!!!

In case you are wondering, theres no outfit requirements so just go in comfortable clothing (casual is fine!)

Both of us find the portion towards the smaller side so if you’re a big eater like us, you probably will need to find food elsewhere afterwards 😆
