Korea’s top skincare - TORRIDEN

The rave for Torriden products has skyrocketed over the past few months or close to a year and here’s my honest view of some of their products! (Cont in Part II)

Torriden believes in making your skin their planet, by using essential ingredients that targets the skin’s needs with optimal absorption and texture. Addtionally, they believe in creating healthy skin environment through caring for the environemnt around us. “LESS IS MORE”. Really love this term used by the team which explains why their packaging is so “cheap looking”. However, the underlying motive is all about reusing recycled bottles and “easy-off” labels which enables users to recycle them easily after each use too - sustainability. 🌈

LOW MOLECULAR hyaluronic acid - whats so special? 💦

Hyaluronic acids are of different molecular size and the commonly used ones are larger in size. With a low molecular size, it can be absorbed by the skin better and can penetrate through deeper layers of our skin! :)

1. DIVE IN hyaluronic acid facial cream

Rating /⭐⭐⭐: 3/5

This moisturiser is very lightweight and its definitely suitable for those who have inner dehydrated skin but oily on the surface (typical sgeans skin)/combination/oily skin. My beautician once told me that most sgeans commonly have the first skin type (as mentioned) due to our lifestyle and eating habits sadly. However, felt that it didnt rly do much for me but my bf whose using tis for day and night liked it so i would say it might be a hit or miss for this product depending on ur skin!🙊

2. DIVE IN moisture glow hyaluronic toner

Rating /⭐⭐:2/5

This toner was a huge disappointment for me… i would say for people who loves water consistency toners that really evaporates the moment you put it on your skin, then this is the toner for you. Extremely lightweight and non sticky, exactly like water :”) i personally prefer their DIVE IN skin booster toner which is more viscous and moisturising!

3. BALANCEFUL cica daily toner pad

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: 5/5

Best product in my opinion!! I love how generous they are with their liquid and the huge surface area that covers my big forehead. I love toner pads when i have my lazy days of not wanting to put my toners on a cotton pad🤦🏻‍♀️ (do yall feel me)

It includes:

- 5D cica (an ingredient that mainly targets rednesss and irritation)

- LHA & PHA (gentle exfoliants)

- panthenol (soothing)

WHATS YOUR FAVOURITE TORRIDEN PRODUCT? IF YOU HAVE YET TO TRY, PLEASE TRY THEIR PRODUCTS - definitely suitable for sensitive skin (bcuz my bf and bestie has sensitive skin but it didnt break them out, it improved their skin overtime!)
