This delicious Brioche loaf 🍞 of bread with Blueberry Lemon Jam 🫐🍋recipe is amazing! It’s perfect for breakfast! I love eating this with my coffee but you can also use it to make French toast! Here is the full recipe 👇🏼

Brioche Loaf Ingredients 🍞

2 Tsp Active Dry Yeast

1 Cup Warm Milk

1/4 Cup Honey

4 1/2 Cups of All Purpose Flour (plus more as needed)

1 1/2 Tsp Salt

4 Eggs

1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter (at room temp)

Egg Wash Ingredients 🥚

1 Yolk

1 Tbsp Milk

Blueberry Lemon Jam Filling Ingredients 🫐🍋

1 1/2 Cup Blueberries

1/4 Cup Sugar

Zest of 1 Small Lemon

Juice of 1 Small Lemon

Instructions:

-Combine the warm milk, yeast, and a little bit of that honey (1 tbsp) to activate the yeast. Let it sit for 6 minutes.

-Add in the rest of the honey, flour, and salt.

-Add one egg at a time as it’s mixing using a stand mixer.

-Add the butter, a little bit at a time. I like to cut it in slices.

-Cover in a greased bowl and let it rest for 2 hours. The dough will be very sticky by the way! That’s totally normal!

-Meanwhile make the blueberry jam! To a small pot add all of the ingredients. Have this on low to medium heat. Keep stirring. Let the blueberries burst. It may still look runny but turn it off and let it come to room temp.

-Once the dough rises, add enough flour to your working surface. Split the dough in half. This recipe makes 2 small loafs of bread.

-Roll it out into a rectangular shape (like you’re making cinnamon rolls).

-Divide the jam In half and spread all over the dough. Roll it up as if you’re making cinnamon rolls and add parchment paper to your loaf pan. Twist the dough and make a little braid. Add the dough to the loaf pan and cover it. You’re doing this twice because you’re making 2 loafs!

-Let it rise again.

-Combine egg wash ingredients and brush on top.

-Bake at 350 for about 30-35 minutes.
